Pakistan has released fast bowler Hasan Ali from their squad ahead of the four-match T20I series against England. Initially included as injury cover for Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali will continue his commitments with Warwickshire in county cricket.
Hasan Ali’s latest performance was in the third T20I against Ireland, where he bowled three overs and conceded 42 runs without taking a wicket.
The 29-year-old pacer has taken 60 wickets in 51 T20I appearances, averaging 24.26 with an economy rate of 8.45. Pakistan’s pace attack for the England series will include Abbas Afridi, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Amir, and Naseem Shah.
Pakistan has yet to announce their squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in the West Indies and the USA.
