Bedard, the No. 1 overall pick from the 2023 NHL Draft, demonstrated his prowess by not only excelling in goals but also leading in power-play assists, power-play points, and shots on goal among rookies. Having also secured the “Rookie of the Month” title in November, the 18-year-old Bedard continues to lead all rookies in goals (15), assists (18), and points (33) across 36 total contests this season. Notably, he becomes the first player since Jordan Binnington in 2019 to receive “Rookie of the Month” honors in consecutive months.
