Dubai: India will clash with Bangladesh in a T20 World Cup warm-up game in the USA on June 1, the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced on Friday. The exact venue and time for the fixture are yet to be disclosed.
Seventeen of the 20 participating teams will compete in warm-up matches scheduled from May 27 to June 1 across the USA and Trinidad and Tobago. Venues include Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Texas, Broward County Stadium in Florida, Queen’s Park Oval, and Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago. Notably, the warm-up fixtures will not hold T20I status, permitting teams to utilize their entire 15-player squad.

South Africa will engage in an intra-squad match during this period. Meanwhile, England will host Pakistan for a four-match bilateral series starting May 22. After touring Pakistan for a five-match T20I series, New Zealand will kick off their World Cup campaign against Afghanistan on June 8.
Fans can attend the warm-up match between West Indies and Australia at Queen’s Park Oval on May 30, with tickets available at tickets.t20worldcup.com or at local box offices.
