Bearman, who secured pole position in Formula 2 before stepping up to fill in for Sainz, impressed with a faultless drive, finishing seventh despite limited practice time.

With more than half of F1’s current grid facing contract uncertainties, Bearman sees an opportunity to secure a permanent seat next season. Having previously driven for Haas in practice sessions and with the team’s close ties to Ferrari, there’s optimism that a door could open for him in 2025.
