Pakistan squad reaches Birmingham for second T20I against England

Pakistan vs England T20I

The Pakistan men’s cricket team arrived in Birmingham from Leeds on Thursday for the second T20I against England, scheduled for May 25.

After reaching Birmingham, the Green Shirts will rest today before engaging in a three-hour training session at Edgbaston on Friday.

The first T20I of the four-match series, set in Leeds, was called off on Wednesday due to persistent rain. The picturesque Headingley Stadium remained covered as rain continued throughout the day, leading match officials to cancel the opener half an hour before the scheduled coin toss.

The T20I series, running from May 22 to 30, is a crucial warm-up for both teams ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024. Notably, the previous edition’s finalists will skip the official warm-up matches for this year’s tournament.
