PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has announced a hefty incentive for the Pakistani cricket team ahead of the upcoming T20 World Cup. Each player stands to earn $100,000 if they emerge victorious in the tournament, set to take place in the US and West Indies from June 1-29.

Naqvi disclosed this exciting news during his visit to Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, where the national squad, led by Babar Azam, commenced their training camp. Interacting with players and officials, Naqvi stressed the significance of teamwork and urged the team to compete without succumbing to pressure.

“The prize money is a token compared to the glory of lifting the trophy. Let’s focus on bringing pride to Pakistan,” Naqvi expressed during his two-hour interaction with the team.

He also lauded individual achievements within the team, presenting special shirts to commemorate milestones such as Mohammad Rizwan’s 3,000 T20 runs and Naseem Shah’s 100 T20 wickets.

“We’ve returned to international cricket with a singular focus – clinching the T20 World Cup,” Imad stated, underscoring the team’s determination to succeed on the global stage.
