Wide receiver Tyreek Hill came back to the Dolphins facility on Friday after being away due to a fire at his home on Wednesday. Although Hill’s family emerged unharmed from the incident, he took a day off from the team on Thursday to address the situation. Head coach Mike McDaniel informed the media that Hill expressed his happiness at rejoining the team on Friday, even though the fire still weighs heavily on his mind.
McDaniel stated, as reported by Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, “It’s an immediate life adjustment. Your home, your safe place. Dealing with insurance and temporarily living in a different place, it’s a significant stressor, no doubt. Reek has the backing of his family and teammates. It’s not something you’d wish on anyone. It’s undeniably frightening. We’re grateful for their health, but it’s undoubtedly a challenge. He’ll guide his family through it.”

Despite the challenging circumstances, Hill is expected to play on Sunday. The Dolphins, however, are assessing the availability of wide receiver Jaylen Waddle and running back Raheem Mostert for the crucial AFC East title matchup against the Bills.
