Test cricketer Ahmed Shehzad has voiced his concerns over Pakistan’s preparation for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024, criticizing captain Babar Azam in the process.

During an appearance on Geo News’ program Report Card, Shehzad expressed doubts about the team’s readiness for the tournament. “We’re not at all prepared for the tournament and there’s nothing to lie about. When Babar Azam was asked in the press conference whether his team is prepared for the forthcoming T20 World Cup, he did not answer this question and instead said that this team is made after going through a long selection process, because he is aware that his team is not prepared,” Shehzad remarked.
