Ireland set a competitive total of 178-7, with standout performances from Lorcan Tucker, who scored a rapid 73 off 41 balls, and Andrew Balbirnie, who contributed 35 runs. Tucker and Balbirnie’s 85-run partnership for the second wicket provided a solid foundation. Shaheen Afridi was the star with the ball for Pakistan, claiming 3-14.

Pakistan’s response was led by an outstanding partnership between Babar Azam and Muhammad Rizwan, who put on 139 runs together. Babar dazzled with a 42-ball 75, including four sixes in a single over from Ben White. Rizwan supported with a steady 56 off 38 balls, guiding Pakistan to their target with three overs to spare.
